So I've been wearing Brooks Brothers shirts for a couple of years now
and needed to make some additions to the wardrobe. Having been in the
BB family for awhile now, I was aware of the twice a year sales
offered so I placed my purchase. 10 shirts, two bow ties, and two
pairs of pants later I was done and happy.
I woke up early the next morning (Christmas morning) and was looking
around on the internet while everyone else was getting ready and saw
that BB was now offering an additional 15% off of the already sales
price. With my purchase amount, that added up to more than a few
dollars. I took a chance and emailed them explaining the situation,
but didn't hear back...until just now.
I received an email this morning explaining that due to the order
being in process they could not make any adjustments at this time.
HOWEVER, once the order had been shipped, they would credit me back
the additional 15%!!! In addition, BROOKS BROTHERS had ALREADY made
adjustments to my other purchase (I made the order in two
purchases...had to get more).
I think that's awesome! The could have easily not emailed back or
said that all sales are finally, but they went out of the box for a
client. I loved Brooks Brothers before and honestly even if they
hadn't given any money back, I was happy about my purchase. Now they
get a post explaining something they did that so few companies would do.
If you wear dress shirts and haven't tried Brooks Brothers wrinkle
free, give them a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and one
day they may just step out and say thank you for shopping with us as
they did with me.
