Manufacturers loves to stamp Ferrari on their products and jack the price up. Laptops, kids toys, cell phones, speakers, and on and on and on. I don't really get it, but there is obviously a market for all things Ferrari. If you're driving around any Ferrari, then all of the cell phones, speakers, etc. is a fun addition. No one is going to do anything but wish they had a Ferrari too. Although, if you're not DRIVING/OWN a Ferrari, people will laugh at you all day long:-) "I just got a Ferrari...cell phone." Interesting.
 
I will say that I like the look of the latest Vertu Ascent Ti Ferrari. As far as the price, what's the saying..."If you have to ask..." You know the rest.

Best Cupcakes Ever?

 

A few months ago Charissa and I went with my buddy Karol to VeggieFest.  While there they each had a Vegan Oreo Cupcake from one of the many booths that were set up.   Not sure why I didn't try one, but just wasn't feeling it that day.   Well, days passed and they kept talking about how good the cupcakes were, so I found a recipe and did my best to replicate...because I like challenges:-)  The end product was really good.  One major flaw for me though was the icing.   I just don't love icing.

So a couple of days ago I got a text from Karol saying that he had made some jelly-filled Vegan cupcakes (see picture above).   He had gotten a Vegan cookbook, Veganomicon, and was finally putting it to use.  So the next day when he came over to watch the game (Magic/ Celts) he brought some for me and Charissa.

These might be the best cupcakes ever!  Seriously.  Great texture, awesome all fruit spread inside, and a light dusting of confectionaries sugar to top them off.  They've got to be healthy right?  Probably like 10 calories or something:-)
