So we (Charissa, Myself and Karol) went to VegFest 2009 yesterday. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but Karol is leaning that way and I thought it would be fun. I'd never even heard of VegFest before this year, but the event had a great turnout and was filled with music, speakers, product and information booths and food.
The highlight of the day for me was the food:-) I had some spring rolls, with some fruit salad and some other kind of salad which was really good. Charissa had the same and Karol had the raw veggie plate. You can see our first meal below.

Later, after a little more walking around, I waited in this line for a portobello burger and it was really worth the wait. Awesome!

Overall, it was a really fun morning. Special thanks to Karol for making all the food happen:-) No one was taking check cards:-(
