I'm about to head out on some last minute shopping and I'm pretty sure I know what I'm looking for this time. Waiting until the last minute isn't something that I normally do, but this year has been a bit more difficult to be creative and fun. Last year I bought almost everything I saw. That created a large deduction from the checking account, but it was a ton of fun to give.
Giving of course isn't about the price of the item, but nice things are fun to give too. The only thing better than "nice" is creative. Creative gift giving rocks the heart's house. At least it does mine. I've gotten to the point, where most things I can purchase on my own if I want them. I'm becoming my parents...hahaha. Anyway, the creative factor really does come into play more and more these days.
As a kid I didn't want creative. Growing up if I said I wanted the Super Nintendo...please, please get me the Super Nintendo. As a youngster you have one problem when it comes to wanting things, make that two. One, YOU HAVE NO MONEY! Two, you want everything you see on a commercial. Three, you get tired of things so quickly because you're an emotional shopper (asker). Yeah, I know that was more than two. Having said all of that, times do change:-)
Creativity doesn't mean making origami as was suggested to me this week. Though that would show some major talent;-) Creativity to me when it comes to Christmas shopping is more about being creative with the heart and taking advantage of the other things, like the ears. ALERT: Listening is a great tool:-)
So this is what I plan on doing today. I plan on taking all the ears have collected and being creative. I'm going to Bloomingdales to get...just kidding. I can't tell what I'm getting. Someone will soon see though:-)
Merry Christmas to you all. For all the last minute shoppers out there...see ya at the mall!
