Vince Carter, of the NBA's Toronto Raptors, was recently told by the NBA that he could no longer wear headphones during the 20-minute warm-up prior to each game. Apparently it violates the league's rules on proper attire.
Vince claims he listens on his iPod to get focused on the upcoming game. Hmm, I guess playing in front of 17,000 people isn't enough to get you focused. Oh yeah, that 8.9 million he gets paid a year to play isn't enough to get him focused either.
I don't know about you, but I am taking my iPod to work tomorrow. I mean I have to get focused too.
Here are my best guesses at what Vince was listening to before those games:
1. Believe in yourself, A Self Help Guide for Rich NBA Players
2. I Believe I can fly, R. Kelly
Then again, it could be all image and no substance. Hmm, does that make sense...whatever.
