This is the HTC Touch Pro which is due out later this year. Perhaps the best of both worlds with touch and QWERTY.

So I finally got a new bluetooth thanks to the fam. I must admit that my old one (also a gift) was looking a little rugged. It did its job well though for the last few years. Anyone out there still not using bluetooth...make the move. It's safer and easier. Who likes holding a phone to their ear anyway??
So the new one has a ton of features of which I don't really know just yet. One cool thing is it slides out.

It also allows stereo sound in the event you want to listen to music...or hear someone talk to you in both ears. Ok the talking in both ears part is a little too much, but cool feature. Within a week, I'll have it mastered.

So it looks like more information is out on the Blackberry Bold. Seems as though AT&T will get the Bold in July with an expected price point to be around $300 (not confirmed). Sprint and the rest of the crew will unleash their boldness in September.
Decisions, decisions.

Meet the Blackberry Bold (9000). Apparently AT&T will be the first to get it. Price not known, but I'm sure it'll be pricey. I was just about to buy the Curve for Sprint. Should I wait??
*Sprint lost 1.09 million subscribers in Q1. Not good Sprint.

Check out the new Plantronics Discovery 925! Pretty sweet looking!
Set to release next month with a price of $149, it may be on my post
wedding list of things to get. Birthday gift? hint...hint.

The Blackberry Curve 8830 is confirmed to come to Sprint this month
and now is the time to make a decision on if this will be my next
phone. I've never had a Blackberry device in all of these years, so
I'm not totally sold, but I'm ready for something new. My contract is
up with Sprint, but it's just easy to stay with them. What I don't
get is that like most businesses, Sprint rewards a new client with a
better deal than the guy who's been there +7 years (me).
Do you have a Blackberry? What are your thoughts???
Peace!
In April, Sprint will finally release the Blackberry Curve to consumers and this consumer of technology is 85% sure that he'll be getting one. I updated recently to Sprint's $99 everything unlimited plan and while my Pocket PC has done well for me, I'm ready to have a phone that truly utilizes the everything feature.
Does anyone have the Curve? What are your thoughts? I am a Mac user...does that matter??
Thanks in advance. Peace!
Over the last few years I've jumped on the bandwagon and began texting (SMS) more and more. It cuts through all the, "hey, how ya doing," nonsense and gets to the point. I like it...a lot.
Cell phone providers know I, and many others as well, enjoy this feature and thus they keep raising the price. Sprint just raised theirs to $0.20 from $0.15. Those nickels add up:-)

CNET has more information on Apple's new (not even available yet) iPhone. According to CNET the phone will range from $499 for the 4GB version all the way to $599 for the 8GB version...with a 2 year contract of course:-) While that seems quite high for what you're really getting (phone and iPod), I'm sure a line out the building will be made when it is released in June. Who knows, I might even be in line:-D
Apple continues to push, now going into the phone market with iPhone. From the looks of it, this will be so cool. Read on...

I'm sure by now you've seen T-Mobile's new thing called myFaves. They allow you to have the 5 people you call the most listed as your favorites and give you unlimited calls to them no matter their carrier. GREAT IDEA!!
Charissa just bought the Blackberry Pearl with the Enterprise feature for corporate email and it will only cost $79.99 a month. That includes the myfaves, 1000 anytime minutes, email, internet, text messages...everything.
If there are no hidden gimmicks, this is the way it should be. Go T-Mobile!

This past week I dropped Nextel and took a Sprint. Same company really...totally different phone. The Sprint PPC 6700 has it all! 416 Mhz Intel Processor, Microsoft Windows, Broadband speed online, 1.3 megapixel camera, and more. I am really enjoying it thus far. The buy was not for the gadgets though, it was for the contact management. That makes it worth the money I dropped on it. Just step one in a more organized approach. See ya at the finish line.
So I stopped by the Nextel place the other day and upgraded my phone. Why, I am not really sure. I guess it was just about time. Going away is the i730 and taking its place is the i830:-)
Nextel just released the new i860 a few days back. This is the one that has the camera. While the phone looks cool, who cares if it has a camera? I guess I am just not into spending more for a phone so that I can take a low quality digital image.
For now I am sticking with the i730. Now if they could just get the whole reception deal down. Ugh.
